More Buses, More Often: Night Services Now Running Every Day

There’s good news for bus users across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch this autumn. On Monday 15 September, Morebus started rolling out a renewed winter timetable, and it means some routes will now run 24/7.

The biggest change is to the night buses. Until now, these services only operated on Fridays and Saturdays. But from this month, they’ll be running every night of the week. It’s a real boost not only for the local night-time economy; pubs, restaurants, theatres and venues, but also for people who work evenings and night shifts. Hospital staff, carers, and anyone on late duty will now have more reliable travel options every single day.

Alongside the expanded night services, Morebus has made improvements across a number of routes. Expect extra journeys, earlier starts, later finishes and tweaks to timings designed to make buses more reliable. Several routes are also returning to their winter timetables, with updates to keep everything running smoothly.

New timetables are easy to find: PDFs are available online by clicking on the bus number, and printed booklets are available at the Poole Bus Station travel shop.
