VIDEO: Coastal Walks in Dorset
Is this REALLY Dorset? Save this for your next Dorset walk inspo!
We did the most exciting little Jurassic Coast adventure walk yesterday — Ringstead Bay White Nothe back along the beach.
It’s around 3-4 miles, so a great distance with kids, but I’d say it’s best for confident walkers because the descent down to White Nothe is very steep (my two thought it was the BEST part).
A quick tip - when you reach the bottom, the path isn’t super clear and you could easily end up lost in the bracken… just stay close to the coast and the route becomes obvious again.
We timed it right with the tide, so we could walk back along the rocks and beach and the kids had the best time exploring stones, rock pools and making little ‘boats’ out of cuttlefish bones and feathers.
Winter sunshine + turquoise sea + huge views = the perfect family adventure.
I’ll pop the full route + tips on the blog. Save this for your next Dorset day out!
