Weymouth Armed Forces Day

Weymouth Armed Forces celebrations take place between 21 and 23 June 2025.

Weymouth Town Council has been awarded a £10,000 match-funded grant by the Ministry of Defence to support its annual Armed Forces Weekend celebrations, taking place over Saturday 21^st, Sunday 22^nd, and Monday 23^rd June.

The grant will go towards putting on a spectacular weekend of celebrations featuring our valued armed forces community, veteran’s associations, marching bands, military vehicle displays and a convoy, music from across the years to entertain the crowds, and a poignant service and parade on the Sunday. The full schedule can be found below:

Saturday:

• Music and entertainment will take place at the Jubilee Clock:
• 10.30am – 11am The Decadettes
• 11am – 11.30am: South Wales Police Band
• 11.30am – 12.15pm: The Decadettes
• 12.15pm – 12.45pm: South Wales Police Band
• 2pm – 2.30pm: South Wales Police Band

Sunday: 

• 1pm: South Wales Police Band
• 1.30pm: South West Area Sea Cadet Band
• 2pm: Wessex Military Band
• 2.30pm: The Decadettes
• 3pm: Dolphin Marching Band

Monday: 

At 10.30am, Weymouth Town Council will raise the Armed Forces Flag outside its offices at the New Town Hall, Commercial Road, Weymouth, DT4 8NG.
