The Hampshire Air Festival launches at Thruxton Aerodrome on 12–13 September 2026, and it's going to be unforgettable.

Prepare for the story of over 100 years of aviation as the ‘Age of Flight’ is celebrated in one spectacular weekend with Great War biplanes, iconic warbirds including the Spitfire, the RAF Tutor team and the Battle of Britian Memorial Flight, helicopter, gravity-defying aerobatics and modern jets from the most experienced and talented pilots.

The recently restored rare MiG-17 from the cold war era will also be making an appearance on both days. Saturday night also delivers an ‘Evening Extravaganza’ with pyrotechnic aerial displays at dusk, and when it gets dark, an amazing drone display and light show will paint pictures in the sky, followed by a fireworks finale.
