Airline TUI introduces new summer route from Bournemouth Airport

Summer getaways have just got easier for Dorset residents as TUI introduces a new route from Bournemouth Airport.

From Tuesday 26th May 2026, TUI will be flying to the idyllic port city of Larnaca in Cyprus every week.

Cyprus joins TUI’s already extensive catalogue of countries including Greece (Corfu, Kefalonia, Rhodes, Heraklion), Turkey (Antalya and Dalaman) and Spain (Mallorca).

Furthermore, for this Summer, TUI will be adding 15,000 extra seats on its planes allowing for flights to Kefalonia in Greece up to twice a week.

With Jet 2 Holidays starting its first summer in Hurn after major investment, it appears that Bournemouth Airport is becoming a gateway to exotic resorts and warmer climates despite its smaller size.
