A set of optional pre-bookable workshops and forays running during the Secret Fungi Festival weekend at Careys Secret Garden, including mushroom growing workshops and Urban Forage sessions.

Secret Fungi Festival Pre-Bookable Workshops and Forays

Venue: Careys Secret Garden, Wareham, Dorset

These pre-bookable workshops and forays are available in addition to general admission for the Secret Fungi Festival. A festival admission ticket is still required to access the festival, unless specifically stated for the Saturday evening feast.

Jurassic Coast Mushrooms Growing Workshops (with Andy Knott): practical sessions on growing mushrooms at home (materials provided).

• Friday 23 Oct 2026, 2pm–3pm: £15 per person
• Saturday 24 Oct 2026, 2pm–3pm: £15 per person
• Sunday 25 Oct 2026, 2pm–3pm: £15 per person

Urban Forage Workshops

• Friday afternoon forage (introduction to foraging and fungi, with tea and tasters), 2pm–4pm: £25 per person, max 18 guests
• Saturday morning forage (introduction to foraging and fungi, with tea and tasters), 11am–1pm: £25 per person, max 18 guests
• Saturday evening “Textures of Fungi” foraged feast, 6pm–8pm: £35 per person, max 20 guests (includes evening admission)
