The Dog’s Frolics: The New Forest pub that is perfect for pooches

Dogs have forever been called ‘man’s best friend’ but 76% of Brits feel bad leaving their four legged friends at home.

This is where The Dog’s Frolics, formerly The Woodside Inn, noticed a gap in the market.

This pop-up pub can be found on Sandy Balls Holiday Village in The New Forest, owned by Away Resorts.

With owners facing increasing struggles with keeping their dogs safe in the sun, The Dog’s Frolics aims to provide a safe space for dogs to relax away from the sun.

The pub has a specialised dog menu featuring ice poles, ice creams and even refreshingly cold dog beer. 

Dog friendly activities are also available including arts and crafts and dog-themed quizzes which aim to raise money for The Dogs Trust.

Despite being on a holiday village, the pub is still open to the wider public so make sure you pay a visit when exploring the New Forest with your pets.
