Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle to open in Poole on Saturday 27 May

The UK's first and biggest indoor adventure park group is to open the doors to its latest attraction in the Dolphin Centre in Poole on Saturday 27 May, with the Dorset park set to be among one of the first of its kind in the UK to have brand new electric karts.

Flip Out is launching in the former Marks and Spencer unit in the Dolphin Shopping Centre in the heart of Poole alongside Putt Putt Noodle, the UK's fastest-growing Asian-inspired adventure golf experience.

Through a multi-million-pound investment, Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle will transform the former Marks and Spencer site into a haven of family-friendly entertainment and fun, while creating 90 full and part-time jobs along the way.

Flip Out Poole will be among one of the first Flip Out indoor adventure parks to feature electric karts. There will be two different sizes of kart, giving children and teenagers the chance to unleash their inner Lewis Hamilton! The smaller karts can be used by younger children, provided they are over 1.2m tall. Larger karts will also be available, with a height limit of 1.7m perfect for bigger kids and teens.

The Laser Tag arena is also great fun for all the family. It's the most immersive laser tag game yet - it's like stepping into a video game. Teams are pitched against each other in the space-themed arena. It's the perfect fun, competitive and exhilarating game to enjoy with friends and family.  Children (taller than 1.2m) and adults alike will enjoy stalking the labyrinths, catwalks and mazes, with special effects, music and lights. Guests will score points by zapping opponents and try not to lose points by getting zapped themselves!

And you don't have to be Erling Haaland to take part in the attraction's interactive technology-infused football pitch. It is a fun experience that is perfect for all the family, even those who aren't massive football fans. Everybody wants to get involved!

The large Cannon Blast Arena will see teams battle against each other by firing sponge ball cannons at anyone who runs the gauntlet in the ball collection zone!

The new 21st-century activities are guaranteed to bring in the crowds, but the more traditional pastimes of roller skating, bumper cars, soft play and the state-of-the-art Sega Arcade are set to be as popular as ever.

Flip Out's Diner is set to go down well with the kids too, serving up pizza, burgers and hot dogs while mums and dads will be pleased to hear that Flip Out will be serving Costa coffee.

Putt Putt Noodle is also opening on 27 May and will be open until late in the evening so it will be a big boost for the Dolphin Centre's nightlife.

The UK's fastest-growing Asian-inspired adventure golf experience, that is set to take the indoor world of golf by storm, will feature three nine-hole courses inspired by the cherry blossoms of Japan, crouching tigers of the Far East and the dragon symbols of Asia. And, to complement the Asian-inspired golf experience, there will be an extensive menu of cocktails, craft beers and exquisite sushi and noodle dishes.

Talking about these exciting new openings for Poole town centre, Richard Beese, co-owner of Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle, said:

"We are counting down the hours until 27 May when we can open the doors to Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle. While it has taken longer than we anticipated to finally open, we can't wait to start welcoming families and fun seekers from Poole and the surrounding area. We just know that they are going to love both of these experiences and we look forward to pulling out all of the stops to make Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle the leading family attractions in Dorset, becoming a big part of the community and playing our part in bolstering the economy in Poole town centre."

Speaking about the opening of the new attractions, John Grinnell, Centre Manager of The Dolphin, said: "It is fantastic to welcome Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle to the Dolphin's diverse and vibrant offering. Flip Out is already a hugely well-known and popular brand and having its first Dorset attraction open at The Dolphin, really does bring something unique to our centre. Additionally, Putt Putt Noodle provides themed adventure golf activities with a twist and delivers another engaging experience for locals in Poole town centre.

"Flip Out's opening complements a variety of new initiatives that have launched at the Dolphin over the past two years as part of our wider strategy to reimagine the shopping centre, aiming to deliver a more diversified retail experience for those visiting the town.

"The Dolphin now stands as a community hub and far more than just a shopping centre. By curating a wider experience for residents that goes beyond the usual retail offering, we are putting Poole on the map and attracting heavyweight brands from across the UK.

"Welcoming new attractions such as Flip Out highlights The Dolphin's commitment to continuing to grow Poole town centre. By broadening what we can offer within the centre, we are providing families with even more reasons to come out and spend the day in our fantastic and vibrant community."

The opening in Poole is the first of many new Flip Outs and Putt Putt Noodles opening in the UK this year, including new venues in Telford, Liverpool and East London.
