Dorset Charity raises almost £15,000 Bournemouth Running Festival

Nearly 40 runners took part in the Bournemouth Running Festival at the weekend for MYTIME Young Carers including CEO Krista Sharp. They were all running to raise funds to support children across Dorset and the Isle of Wight who care for a loved one.

Between them they have raised nearly £15,000 which is enough to take 375 young carers on a Making Memories day. These days give young carers the opportunity to take a break from their caring role and have some fun with other young people who understand both the challenges and rewards of being a young carer.

Krista said: “A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to all the incredibly generous people who sponsored the team.”
