VIDEO: Coastal Walks in Dorset

Is this REALLY Dorset? Save this for your next Dorset walk inspo! We did the most exciting little Jurassic Coast adventure walk yesterday — Ringstead Bay White Nothe back along the beach. It’s around 3-4 miles, so a great distance with kids, but I’d say it’s best for confident walkers because the descent down to White Nothe is very steep (my two thought it was the BEST part). A quick tip - when you reach the bottom, the path isn’t super clear and you could easily end up lost in the bracken… just stay close to the coast and the route becomes obvious again. We timed it right with the tide, so we could walk back along the rocks and beach and the kids had the best time exploring stones, rock pools and making little ‘boats’ out of cuttlefish bones and feathers. Winter sunshine + turquoise sea + huge views = the perfect family adventure. I’ll pop the full route + tips on the blog. Save this for your next Dorset day out!

Then came a great session with a Wellness Coach who gave us a personalised machine induction and a proper workout. There’s also a packed group fitness programme with everything from spinning to aqua aerobics! Next stop: the immaculate pool area which is complete with hydro pool, sauna & steam room. So clean, calm and perfect for winding down. We wrapped up with lunch in the bar (and a bit of work catch-up). The chicken Caesar salad was a solid 10/10. Whether you’re after fitness, relaxation or just a fresh space to recharge, this place has it all. Different packages available too! Highly recommend checking it out – you won’t believe this sanctuary is right in the heart of Bournemouth!
